The Game Room
Located on the lower level.
This room is well furnished for your entertainment with plenty of reading
materials, games, a pool table, bristle and electronic dart boards, (that
can be played simultaneously) along with a piano that you are welcome to play.
The Deck
A hot tub and sitting areas are located on the deck right next to the game room, while the deck just above the hot tub has a double swing allowing relaxation and a view of the surrounding wilderness.
The Living Room
Equipped with a large video and DVD collection, this room is the perfect place to kick back and relax. The large fireplace provides the perfect place to curl up, read, or watch the fire, and with the sound system that accompanies our television, you are bound to enjoy the time you spend here.
The "Pit"
An area located in the living room to curl up and enjoy the comforts of home. Read a book, watch a movie, or just enjoy the fire. There is a VCR and a DVD player in the living room with a new surround sound system. A large selection of videos and DVDs are available for your convenience.
Outdoor Activities

Colorado Trail - Just a mile or two from the house.
- Hot Springs - Mt. Princeton is only a mile away, with three pools to choose from plus hot pool along side Chalk Creek.
- Ghost Towns
- St Elmo - Feed the chipmunks, hike, shop, or just relax and enjoy the mountain air.
Horseback Riding
- Awesome stables are located two miles from the house.
Golfing
- Collegiate Peaks - Located in Buena Vista (about ten miles from the house) a beautiful mountain course consisting of nine holes and a lot of water hazards.
- Salida Golf Club - Located in Salida (roughly twenty-two minutes from the house) is a flat course, consisting of nine holes and lots of trees.
Four Wheeling
- Jeeps are available to rent in Buena Vista. You can climb to the top of Mt. Princeton (14,000 feet, Mt Princeton can be seen from the house.) You can also go over Tin Cup Pass, or over Hancock on 162 towards St. Elmo.
Mountain Biking
- The best mountain biking and ATV riding trails are within one mile of the house. Rented bikes are available in Buena Vista.
On the Premises
- Fishing down on Chalk Creek (poles ready to go on car port)
- Double Swing and Hammock to lay around in and read

Restaurants for dinner
- Quincy's - a fine restaurant at a very reasonable price located on Hwy 24.
- Or another nice restaurant at Mt Princeton located only a mile from
the house. (Menus are available upon request.)
